Marion Jones, a track star, is going to jail.

That’s what CNN says at any rate.

This woman lied to federal agents and committed check fraud. If I did that, I’d get more than six months in jail. She almost got probation.

She seems to think this is unfair. I agree; it’s unfair to the rest of the world who sometimes makes the same mistakes and has to make amends for years.
