Over the past few days a lot has happened. I got promoted to an ASG Pool members, which means I’ll be spending a lot of my time off the phones. Additionally, it means I will be taking more responsibility for coaching and advising the agents we have on our staff.

I left my former team, the Steve Miller Band of Nomads. (Named because the team moved so much at one point, and also because my boss’s name was Steve Miller.) I was very sad the night I left the team, and my boss wasn’t even there for my last night with them. Instead, I was in charge. (I guess that’s sort of akin to having a last hurah with the team?)

As a direct result of some of the actions of one agent that day, (and previous days, and yesterday) someone got walked out of the building today. A lot of people seemed worried about me feeling like it was my responsibility. I live by the following rule: James is responsible for James. Everyone else is responsible for everyone else. If you don’t do your job right, you don’t keep your job.

Simple as that.

I have more to talk about, such as the stupidity of our society and how we continue to change the way parents can and cannot do things, thus making our children worse and worse over time while making some better and better; I think there are some things we should change about our society, and about our government’s system.

I may expand upon these later.
